HELEN PADARIN

Naturopath, Nutritionist and Herbalist

Helen Padarin is an award-winning naturopath, herbalist and nutritionist with over 20 years of clinical experience. She is a published best-selling author, public speaker and an advocate for empowering individuals, families and organisations to find the joy in living and being well.

Helen’s personal and professional journey has been intimately intertwined. Much of her own personal journey has been what has guided her professional career, and likewise she learns so much from her patients and clients.

She is passionate about bringing awareness to the connection between physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. Above all she values a sense of curiosity, compassion and adventure in her life and her work. Much of Helen’s clinical practice centres around reconnection to self, each other and nature to achieve renewed states of wellbeing.

Through her work Helen promotes awareness and provides education about treatment and healing options for immune, digestive and neurological disorders.

Chronic conditions – from autoimmune disorders, chronic fatigue syndrome, depression, anxiety, ASD and ADHD – have all been on the rise in the last couple of decades and all have many common underlying contributing factors.

Dietary intervention, naturopathic solutions, a biomedical approach, optimising ones environment, reconnecting to Self and healing past traumas and relational dynamics are all tools for the healing of these conditions.

Not one for politically correct food myths and fad diets, Helen makes it easy for you to get back to real food, loaded with healthy nutrients.  Watch excess weight peel off and vitality and energy pile on!  Our food choices are pivotal not only for our own health, but also for that of our environment. So while you’re eating better for yourself you can feel even more satisfied by knowing you’re also contributing to the health of the planet (and no – that does NOT mean going plant based – that’s just another currently politically correct food and climate myth).

Helen was called on to write a chapter on paediatrics and ASD for peer-reviewed clinical textbooks “Clinical Naturopathic Medicine” and “Advanced Clinical Naturopathic Medicine” by Leah Hechtman, published by Elsevier. She co-authored the book “BubbaYumYum” with Charlotte Carr and Pete Evans, co-authored the “The Complete Gut Health Cookbook” with Chef Pete Evans and has written several articles for health magazines.

Since 2011 Helen has been a regular presenter and ambassador for the Mindd Foundation. She has presented for Health Masters Live and ACNEM, providing post-graduate education for GP’s, naturopaths, nutritionists and other health care professionals. While living in NZ Helen also lectured anatomy and physiology for the NZ College of Massage at the NZ Institute of Sport.

Helen gains constant inspiration from seeing clients make conscious changes to their physical health to find that it also benefits their emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing as well. She loves working with other health professionals, community groups, thought leaders and game changers to provide a truly holistic approach to health and in doing so create a supportive community.

Helen finds nothing more satisfying than seeing patients and clients find the joy in Being Well and in doing so inadvertently spread inspiration to friends and family around them. Vitality, it turns out, is contagious!

Having worked from one of Sydney’s most highly regarded integrative medical centres for the last 21 years, Helen has now dreamt up and created her own integrative health practice WELL EMBODIED – and it’s all online, so you can access our practitioners no matter where you are in the world.

Helen finds joy in outdoor adventure, walking in nature, spending time by and in the ocean or creek, playing (i.e. working on strength and fitness in dynamic functional and fun ways), progressing her own journey of wellness, sharing enriching and joyful experiences with friends and family, and continuing on the journey of “know thyself”.
